Have you ever made strawberry covered chocolate? Here is your chance! Easy, good and perfect for your sweet Valentine!
STRAWBERRY COVERED CHOCOLATE DIPPING SAUCE:
- Melt 2oz of cacao butter
- Add 1 tsp of sunflower lecithin (whisk in) or 2 tbsp of melted coconut oil
- Whisk in 1/2 cup of raw cacao (run it thru a sieve to break the lumps)
- Add 2 tbsp of coconut nectar or agave syrup
- You can add 1 tsp of vanilla or 2 drop of peppermint essential oil
- Keep it warm, so it does not get hard;
- Wash a whole pint of fresh strawberries and dry them very well
- Holding each one by the tail, dip half way into the chocolate sauce.
- Cover a plate with parchment paper and place each strawberry on top.
- When all are done place in the refrigerator and let the chocolate get hard, about 1 hour, if you can wait that long!
Note: The best way to melt your cacao butter is to put it in a jar and place it in your dehydrator at 95 degree, and let it sit over night. If you do not have a dehydrator, place water in a pot, let it reach about 130 degree or 55 degree Celsius; Place your cacao butter in a bowl over the pan and let it melt. That is all you need to do if you want to have really raw chocolate. Bon Appétit!
