Cranberry Pomegranate Relish Recipe

The holiday season is upon us, again! This is a time when we embrace family, friends neighbors and of course, rich fatty food, damaging our liver, arteries and heart. We never learn do we? So I thought to give you a gift of health for this Holiday season.

This recipe, is easy, fat free, and can be around the table everywhere you go during this Holiday Season. The sour taste of cranberry increase bile production, breaking down the fat and promoting a healthy liver. Orange zest can reduce stomach stagnation, for those days when there is no more space to put food in your body. Ginger will stimulate the digestive fire to activate good digestion. While the pomegranates are a great tonic for the heart.

So here you have it, less guilt, more health and happy happy Holiday Season!!!


  • 3 to 4 cup of fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup of agave syrup (how sweet do you like it? you can always add more at the end)
  • 4 to 6 soft dates
  • 3/4 cup of fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup zest of fresh pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 tsp of sea salt
  • 1 tbsp of ginger juice


  • Pulse all the ingredients in a food processor to desire consistency, adjusting the taste to your liking.
  • To get ginger juice, grate some fresh ginger and squeeze the juice away from the pulp.
